Into the Sunset

We fought Teeth bared and voices loud. Hearts breaking Tears streaking our cheeks It felt like the world was falling apart. Hell's fire consuming everything. It seemed almost as if nothing could calm the flames. We wandered as the sun set The memories soon began to fly Like embers from a dying flame. The good times, They flashed in the rays of the sun. Bad times where our strength, love and kindness were what held us together, Shone like the fading clouds. As we walked into the sunset, We remembered our love.
